Award-winning homebuilder breaks new ground with latest offering in the Village at Griesbach

Carrington Communities, five-time winner of the CHBA-Edmonton region Multi-Family Builder of the Year award, will open its new two-storey showhome in its successful Veritas project on Saturday, April 24. The opening will highlight a unique townhome concept in the centre of Edmonton’s popular Village at Griesbach development.

The townhomes—of which there are only 10 in the two buildings that make up the 94-unit Veritas—sit as the first two levels of each contemporary four-storey building, and offer expansive space, privacy and quick front door access to the beautiful outdoor amenities of Griesbach.

Project sales manager Mick Rahall says the condo homes have been particularly popular with downsizers, offering still-substantive space including large kitchens, especially with a pantry option. Each unit comes with extensive storage, six quality appliances (including full size, side-by-side washer and dryer in a laundry area with counter space and storage) and top-of-the-line finishings including quartz or granite countertops. The two-bedroom-plus-den condos are end units and feature expansive windows offering wrap-around balconies to view the park and lake amenities around Veritas.

Two-bedroom floorplans range from 1,181 to 1,199 square feet. The two-bedroom-plus-den suites range from 1,348 square feet to 1,390 square feet. Prices for the two-bedroom units start at $304,900.

Each unit has air conditioning, a blind package, gas line for the BBQ, and comes with one underground, heated parking space (additional spaces are available for purchase) and a storage locker, adding to the attraction for established buyers that may be downsizing.

The two-storey townhomes feature the same award-winning quality and style, which Rahall describes as perfect for professionals and couples, whether they are working from home or making a quick commute to a downtown job.

The townhomes range from one-bedroom lofts to two-bedrooms homes with two master suites, each with an ensuite and walk-in closet. All townhomes come with a half bath on the main level for guests. And a special feature is a bar serving area tucked beneath the stairs on the main level, complete with counter and cabinetry space.

Enjoy private access to your home from the street, which is perfect for pets and their owners to quickly get outdoors. The townhomes are airy and bright, accentuated by large windows that bring the outdoors inside.

And because the townhomes are part of the two Veritas buildings, owners also have underground parking and building amenities like a fitness centre and social lounge.

Veritas’ location within Griesbach is a draw for both townhome and apartment owners. Veritas residences are just steps away from Patricia Lake, which is one of four lakes in the community. The paths leading to the nearby community gardens, expansive forests and wetlands are also perfect for walking the small dogs permitted in Veritas.

Veritas sits across the street from a commercial hub that includes a Tim Hortons, Shopper’s Drug Mart, and a wide range of restaurants including Wayback Burgers and Popeyes Louisiana Chicken. “Veritas offers the convenience of being close to downtown with access to Rogers Place and great dining, but in an area that is quieter, where you can unwind, and is rich in outdoor amenities,” says Rahall.

The townhome showhome opening this weekend in the second Veritas building will be the fourth showsuite homebuyers can tour on-site.

All remaining units in Veritas are available for immediate possession and with high-end finishes and a premium location, they are sure to be gone soon.
