1) Leasing Agent, Carrington Group, Edmonton – Full Time Temporary

The primary function of the Leasing Agent is to provide exceptional customer service. They thrive in a fast paced environment and possess strong negotiation and communications skills. They will be primary responsible for the leasing and administration of a brand new portfolio of multi-residential apartments downtown. The leasing agent is accountable for showing available units, qualifying prospective residents and successfully negotiating lease to achieve optimum occupancy.

Key Responsibilities:
– A passion for excellence in customer service delivery and promote a strong sense of community
– Demonstrate excellent sale skills by minimizing vacancy and achieving an occupancy rate of 100%
– Market, show and rent apartments, professionally responding to telephone and “walk-in” inquiries
– Record all telephone and in-person visits, complete traffic reports and market surveys
– Provide prospective residents with suite, community information and forms, helping to complete applications and secure deposit in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
– Respond to Resident questions, concerns, or complaints in a timely and compassionate manner
– Perform landlord reference checks, process credit checks, and prepare lease agreements
– Follow up with all applicants regarding their application status in a timely manner
– Ensure apartment is ready for resident to move in on agreed date
– Perform and complete move- in and move-out inspections with accuracy and attention to detail
– Inform the Property Manager of any deficiencies or problems that require attention in the building
– Demonstrate community and apartment model and apply product knowledge to clients’ needs by communicating the features and benefits; close the sale

Education & Experience:
– 2+ years of related experience in sales or related role
– Completion of relevant post-secondary education is an asset
– Possess knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act, laws and legislation
– Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet
– Experience with Yardi property management software an asset.
– Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Assistant Site Superintendent Qualifications/Experience:
– Minimum 3 years’ experience in single family residential construction.
– General knowledge of the Alberta Building Code.
– Thorough understanding of construction terms, scheduling and planning concepts.
– Expert ability in accurately interpreting project specifications and plans.
– Proven adaptability to manage priorities and sequencing in a changing work environment impacted by external business conditions.
– Carpentry experience and the use of general power tools is essential
– Meticulous attention to detail.
– Self-starter with ability to set and direct goals and tasks.
– Proven skills in leadership, communication, and problem solving.

Reporting to the Area Manager, our Sales Associate will be a part of a team that is responsible for the day to day operations of the showhome sales centre. 5) Architectural Technologist – Bedrock Homes, Edmonton – Full Time

Bedrock Homes is currently seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our dynamic team of professionals.

Architectural Technologist Qualifications/Experience:
– Completion of an Architectural Technology diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution.
– 2-3 years’ experience in Single Family Residential Construction drafting and design.
– Proficient in SoftPlan or AutoDesk.
– In-depth knowledge of the Alberta Building Code, Part 9.
– Familiar with understanding and applying Bylaw requirements; knowledge of Architectural Guidelines is an asset.
– Has an understanding of truss and joist layouts, engineering details, and plot plans.
– Familiar with current Fire Safety construction requirements for Edmonton and surrounding communities.
– Permit Application experience is an asset.
– Ability to create architectural drawings and construction details.
– Confident in working independently and in a team environment.

6) Executive Assistant – Carrington Construction, Edmonton – Full Time

The Executive Assistant is responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties in support of the Vice President. Duties include but are not limited to executive reception, arranging travel plans, meeting minute-taking and distribution, scheduling appointments and drafting both internal and external correspondence. The Executive Assistant is also required to maintain confidentiality and professionally interact with employees, management and the public.

Executive Assistant Qualifications/Experience:
– Post-Secondary Diploma in Business Administration, or relevant discipline, required.
– 10+ years’ experience as an Executive Assistant (only candidates with Executive Assistant experience will be considered).
